Rest peacefully dear Lindsay. I always heard a tidbit of his wisdom as we met when I was out walking.
Lindsay felt the bears, foraging on the oak trees, just gave the trees character. they sure did.
A heartfelt thanks to his friends that were like family. You truly fulfilled his life. I will miss Lindsay scooting past my place to yours.

My sincere condolences to Lindsay’s family and many friends. Lindsay’s Mom and my husband Ron’s Grandfather (Mike Becker) were siblings. Ron and I kept in touch with Lindsay (Swede) over the years from our young motorcycling days (all purchased from St. Croix’s of course); to get-togethers with our friends in the Pine Falls area, Lac du Bonnet and Transcona. Lindsay took a bit of time off from St. Croix’s and joined Ron on a job up north doing some mechanical work. While there, Lindsay became a welcome visitor and storyteller to some of the local trappers. He was always so interesting to talk with.

Lindsay came for a visit after Ron passed, with old photos of a trip he and Ron made to California on their motorcycles over 50 years ago when we were all much younger. We enjoyed the old memories. I knew he was in pain, but he had recently had treatment and made the trip to Lac du Bonnet. It was greatly appreciated. Rest in Peace dear Lindsay!

Lost a great mentor, I’ve been very privileged to have known and worked with this great man , from right out of school I did my apprenticeship beside him and stayed for 13 years , it was like having a second dad, always teaching new and better ways, from the shop at St Croixs, to the many times flying out to round lake to repair stuff and blowing up beaver dams, teaching me how to tig weld , run a lathe, fly his airplane, always telling jokes and stories, was such a great guy to be around, our camping trip to Oshkosh was one that will never be forgotten, I am honored to have had him as a friend , and leaving me with the task to completely rebuild his airplane, always stopping in to give me pointers on how to make it better, may you rest in peace and I’ll see you in the skies , Thank you Lindsay !!!

It’s hard to put into words what we lost when we lost Lindsay. His smile just made you smile. You couldn’t help but be happy and feel safe around such a gentle caring soul. He told stories that you could always learn from and he loved sharing wisdom. He told jokes that would make himself laugh till he had to wipe tears from his eyes and that’s what made me laugh more than the joke itself. He took care of his cats like they were babies learning their first steps. We lost a great man and an even better friend. He will truly always be missed. I know he’s above the clouds again and I can picture that big smile on his face. Till we meet again.

Condolences to family and his friends and to those who knew him! I remember going to school with Lindsey! He was unusually quiet and didn’t belong to a clique as most teens at the time! I think he preferred being alone! God bless his soul!
