The family would like to announce the peaceful passing of Alfons (Alfi) Bruno Fialski, beloved Husband, Father, Opa and dearest friend on May 8, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer.
The family would like to thank the Palliative Care Unit, CancerCare, Selkirk Hospital and Beausejour Hospital, all the doctors and nursing staff for their dedication, compassion, personal service and care for Alfons and for the support and compassion for our family through this time of need.
A Celebration of Alfons’ Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 14 at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, c/o Prostate Cancer, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg R3E 0V9.

To dear Dennis and family !
We are very sad of the passing of my dearest cousin Alfi . So sorry we cannot be there with you for saying goodbye but in my heart and thoughts I, we will be there.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and yours.
We grew up together in Berlin and always stayed in contact. They called us Alfi and Uli when we were kids.
There are sooo many good memories I will cherish as long as I live and I will miss him always.
Much Love Uschi, Werner, Rainer, Tina and Peter with family.
Alfons was a lovely man. We enjoyed our holidays with him and Edith in the Rocky mountains in 2003 and remember his visits in Berlin/Germany. We enjoyed every meeting and every telefoncall with him. We will miss him and his humour. We think of Dennis, Andy and Gundi.

So sorry to hear of Alfons’ passing; enjoyed knowing him and Edith for many years; enjoyed the walks in the yards, getting fresh eggs, and being served coffee and cake. Will miss his smile and his thick accent… Anni
