It is with the utmost sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our baby brother Adam Meade. Adam passed away unexpectedly in his home in Beausejour on November 20, 2023 at the age of 54.
Adam was the youngest of 9 children born to Henry and Beatrice Meade. He was born in Pine Falls hospital and raised in LDB.
Being the baby he was greatly loved by his huge family. Adam was loving and generous and would give you the shirt off his back, but he had some choice words for anyone who crossed him or any of his family.
He worked hard for many years in the steel industry, often working alongside his nephews, whom he respected and who respected him, Vince, Elliot, Jim and Phil.
He was always good for a laugh and made people smile wherever he went.
He was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Beatrice whom he missed greatly. Also by his grandparents Margaret and Louis Simard, and Allan and Lizzy Meade, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He will be greatly missed by his sisters, Lois, Jenny, Wanda, Holly, Bonnie, Rosalie and Sherry and brother Henry and his sweet little Godchild Lucy. As well his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Heartfelt thanks to special niece Lori who always looked out for him and often cooked for him or sat and had a beer with him. Thank you so much Lori for looking out for your uncle, he loved you so much. He spent a lot of time with Becky and her girls, Bridge, Liv and Layla as well and he will be missed greatly by all his nieces and nephews and their children.
A memorial service will be held at Sobering Funeral Chapel in Beausejour on December 2nd at 2 pm with reception to follow.
Go rest high on that mountain baby brother, we will miss you forever and always.
Adam will be cremated and buried beside mom in Manigotogan at a later date.

I am so saddened and shocked to hear of this tragic news. Adam was definitely a wonderful friend who also didn’t put up with crap. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

Your chubby cheeks and mischievous ways will be missed Adam, your larger than life personality was known wherever you went. I hadn’t seen you in years, but none the less, my heart is broken for your family, and I wish you could have had more time spent on earth with those you loved. 54 is not a very old age, but we go when we are called. Rest easy, watch over your family and friends here on earth keep them safe as best you can until we all meet again! Condolences to all of Adam’s family and friends.

Adam was a gentle soul. Always kind to me and would thank me for always being kind to him. He could always put a smile on everyone’s face with his humor and laughter.
He will surely be missed by all. Gone way to soon but will never be forgotten. RIP Adam.
Condolences to Adams family at this difficult time. Adam was one of the first people I met in Lac du Bonnet back in 1985. I was given a warm welcome into the community and continued to share fond memories until moving from Lac du Bonnet to Winnipeg 2001. Adam is not forgettable and sadden by this shocking news of his passing. God bless to the family.
Oh boi, the stories I could tell about the times I had growing up with Adam! He was so much fun, and the most brutally honest to all, with a bit of f* you too! But he would have the best laugh with you!! His smile was genuine along with his heart. I will always remember the good times!
