1932 ~ 2013
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of George on Monday, March 25, 2013, devoted husband of Helen and caring father to Rick, Karen (Cal), Lisa (Stan), and Grandpa to Christopher, Katrina (Anders), Kolton and Garrett.
George spent many years of his life volunteering for the LDB Fire Department, LDB Ambulance, CPTC Beausejour and most recently for the Beausejour Handivan. He was always available to lend a hand and never turned anyone away. Dad had a love for music. Over the years, he enjoyed playing his fiddle and spent many hours “jamming” with friends and family. He was always ready for coffee with friends and catching up with the latest gossip.
George will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. A celebration of his life was held on Monday, April 1, 2013 at the Brokenhead River Community Hall, Beausejour Room from 2:00 ~ 4:00 p.m.
The family would like to give special thanks to Joan and the Beausejour EMS for their care.
In lieu of flowers, and if you choose, donations in George’s memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
