Aware that she was loved by all her family, Yvonne died on December 11, 2022.
Yvonne was born to Joseph and Anna (Wuchert) on January 14, 1922 in Cloverleaf. She spent her early years on the farm and in Beausejour surrounded by the large extended Keilback family.
During WW2 she worked as a riveter at S&S Aircraft before moving to Hazelridge where she met and married Paul Nazarko. There they operated a community general store until 1981.
Baba, as she was called by her family, was predeceased by her parents, her siblings Norman, Charles, and Doreen (Houde), her husband Paul, all of Paul’s siblings and by son Lionel.
Yvonne is survived by her sons Brian (Jan) and Grant (Eileen), daughter-in-law Neila (Rick), grandchildren Gordon, Orla (Glen Friesen), Bronagh (Tom Janzen), Nuala (Ryan Kuffner), Niall (Jill Stevens), Heidi, Soren, and Anton (Eugenia Kim), and 12 great grandchildren. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, sister-in-law Maggie Keilback and Kathleen Loeb, her friend of almost 90 years.
She continued to make friends throughout all her life, enjoyed visits and staying in touch with those friends and family far away.
Thank you to the staff members at Tuxedo Villa who cared for her these past 2 1/2 years.
Funeral liturgy will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 17 at St. John Brebeuf Parish, 1707 John Brebeuf Pl. in Winnipeg.

For nearly 36 years Mom worked with Dad in our general store. During that time and throughout the following years she befriended you and Olga. Her good nature allowed her to create strong bonds with so many, including our “Olga from the Volga” and Mom always called her “friend”. On behalf of all our family we thank-you for your thoughtfulness, your kind words and your condolences.

Thank you Madeline for your kind words and condolences. I remember those times you babysat us 3 youngsters and I especially remember your wedding…..the first reception that all of 3 of us and our friends had so much fun…. you were certainly daring in including us all at your reception.
Olga was a special friend to Mom and to us and we remember her fondly for all her stories.

It was very kind of you to attend Mom’s funeral especially with the storm and poor driving conditions. It was good to get caught up on all your news. The Osiowy family was a great supporter of my Mom and Dad . Their friendship as well as yours and your brothers were special for my Mom. We thank you for your kind wishes and your condolences.
Thinking of the Nazarko family as you mourn the loss of your dear Mom /Grandmother and matriarch . Her long fruitful life is remarkable testimony to her strength stamina and love of each one of you. May she rest in peace.

I will remember Yvonne fondly and her ready smile and welcoming at every family reunion for the Keilback clan. Glad I got to see her at the last reunion before COVID.

My deepest sympathy to the Nazarko family. My dear Auntie Yvonne will be sadly missed. I will remember her fondly for her cabbage rolls, good advice and wonderful smile. She was loved very much by her nieces.

Deepest condolences on the loss of your beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a good friend to my mom, Olga Lapuk, when they lived at Devonshire House. Every time I saw your mom she had a cheery hello and big smile.
