Wilfred John Campbell passed away peacefully at the Pinawa Hospital on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the age of 91.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Fay, daughter Karen (Michael Allen), son Brian (Maureen) and his grandchildren Jonathan, Madison, Daniel, Rachel (Michael Thiessen) and Nicholas.
Wilf worked at Atomic Energy of Canada in Chalk River, Ontario and Pinawa, Manitoba from 1954 until his retirement in 1984.
Honoring Wilf’s wishes, a family service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank all of their friends and neighbours for their love and support. We also wish to thank the Pinawa Hospital staff for their exceptional care.
Contributions can be made in his honour to the Pinawa Hospital or a charity of your choice.

His quick wit, sharp mind and good humour brightened our days and will be fondly remembered.

You were one of the good ones, Uncle Wilf. Everyone who knew you will remember your decency and sense of humor. You had that special goodness of soul that comes along only rarely. You gave all of us laughter and it will linger in memory. You are missed.

Saying goodbye to those we love is never easy. I pray that you find comfort in your father’s loving memories. May his memories warm your heart and make you smile. Remember loved ones never really leave us. They are part of us and they continue to live on in our hearts and minds.
