2 Condolences

Walter Mikoluff

February 24, 1930 – July 24, 2011

Walter passed away suddenly at his Lac du Bonnet farm, where he was born, on Sunday, July 24, 2011.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years, Betty (nee Tokarz), and will be mourned by his children Richard (Josephine) of Winnipeg and Debbie (Bill) of Nanaimo, BC. He will be dearly missed by his grandsons Brad and Ben. He is survived by his brothers John (Catherine), Rudy (Bernice), Norman (Bertha) and in-laws Walter and Pat Palanycia, Jim and Julie Tokarz, Dan Tokarz and mother in-law Marge Tokarz, also nieces and nephews.

Walter was predeceased by his parents Louis and Carrie and brother Bernest.

Walter farmed for many years, cut pulp, worked on construction and was employed with the Manitoba Government Beausejour Provincial Building for 20 years. He enjoyed his daily walks and watching his grandsons play football.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Mikoluff, Ben Mikoluff, Sanford McKoluff, Milton Kondratiuk, David Palanycia and Allan Tokarz.

Funeral Service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 29 at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue East, Beausejour with viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment in the Beausejour Cemetery followed.

A special thank you to the RCMP Lac du Bonnet detachment, the Beausejour Ambulance attendants and Annelies and Paul Vervaet.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Walter’s memory to a charity of your choice.
