Peacefully on Monday, April 11, 2016 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Tony passed away at the age of 78.
Tony leaves to mourn his wife, Vivian, of 57 years; children Linda (Kevin), Doreen (Bob) and Patricia (Roland); brother Paul (Jean) and family, sister in-law Pauline Spelchak and family, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Tony was predeceased by his parents Anton and Anne Dureski, brother Steve Dureski, and co-partner Jim Downey of Mars Sandhills Golf Course.
As per Tony’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, April 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, Beausejour, MB.
Flowers are gratefully declined, however a donation to a charity of your choice made in Tony’s memory would be appreciated.

Sad to hear that Tony passed away. He was such a sweet guy, and it was always a pleasure chatting with him at the golf course. He’ll be missed by everyone that his life touched….our hearts go out to Vivian and family.

My deepest sympathy to you and the family on Tony’s passing. I have many fond memories of the Dureski family growing up as a child and into adulthood. My son Ted will always remember Tony for offering him a summer job at the Lockport Hotel and generously giving him a ten dollar bill,

Tony and his family have been great friends and neighbors to the Hnatiuk family for a very long time. Every visit with Tony was enjoyable and he always was concerned about others. Our hearts go out to Vivian and family during this difficult time.
