January 13, 1951 ~ February 22, 2024
Timothy (Tim) James Wood (73) of Lac du Bonnet passed away peacefully on February 22nd, 2024.
He is survived by his two sons Ryan (Krissy); Judge (Nicole); grandchildren, Cayden, Mason, Finn and Brooks, as well his sister Jo-Ann.
He was predeceased by his wife Brenda; daughter Jennifer; and parents George and Helen.
Dad was passionate about the communities where he lived and liked to contribute in many ways, such as volunteering, donating and making connections with people. He was a member of the Lions and served as president of the Lac du Bonnet Chamber of Commerce for many years.
His love of the water never ceased as he usually had a boat of some type and fishing was always a favorite. Another hobby of Dad’s was snowmobiling. There are many fond memories of going on sledding trips and adventures with him. His other passion was golf. He always played while in Arizona and was a regular at Black Bear Golf Course near Lac du Bonnet.
In retirement, Dad spent most of his winters in Arizona with the love of his life, Brenda (Blondie). He loved his family and cherished time with his kids and grandkids. He was well known to many as he made friends easily and cared about them all.
Our family would like to thank all the healthcare staff of Lac du Bonnet, Pine Falls, and Pinawa who helped care for Dad.
Dad, you will be missed greatly. Thank you for all you have taught us.
Cremation has taken place, and no service will be held at this time.
