1923-2018
Peacefully with family by her side, Theresa passed away on Sunday March 25th at the age of 94. Theresa is lovingly remembered by her daughter Lisa, son John, eight grandchildren- Ryan, Blair, Robin, Hilary, Justin, Michael, Danny and Kayla as well as many extended family members. Theresa was predeceased by her mother Mary Horvath, her father Gaspar Horvath as well as her beloved husband of 59 years Alfred Kemball.
Theresa Kemball (Horvath) was born in Barbacs, Hungary October 14, 1923. She emigrated from Hungary as a child with her family, landing in Saskatchewan and later settling in Pine Falls. Theresa worked in the Paper Mill where she met the love of her life, Alfred Kemball. They were married in 1951.
Theresa was a devoted and loving mother and wife who adored her grandchildren. She had a love for being outside at the “farm”, reading, taking her grandchildren for breakfast at “Peddens” and telling stories about the “old country”. Theresa was kind, generous and always ready with a compliment. A gentle soul with a kind heart who brightened the lives of all who knew her.
A special thank you the staff of Sunnywood manor, for their gentle care and kindness.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 28 at 11:00 a.m. at Notre Dame du Laus Roman Catholic Church in Powerview, MB. Interment will follow in the Notre Dame du Laus Cemetery.

We are sending our sincere sympathy to Lisa and family on the loss of your mom and grandmother. She was a beautiful, warm and caring person who always had time for a chat on the street in Pine Falls. We have very fond memories with Terry at the pool in the early mornings of summer! Heaven has gained a beautiful angel!
