April 16, 1939 – February 7, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister Sylvia on February 7, 2024.
Left to cherish her memory are her son Brad (Kathy), daughter Bev (Duane), grandchildren, Melissa (Brad), Allison (Jonathan), Brent (Jordyn), Derek and Jamie (Niki), great-grandchildren Khloe, Kingstyn, Aria, Riggs, Birdie, Devynn, Violet and Daisy. Also her brother Mervin (Barb) and sister Carole (Ivan).
She was predeceased by her husband Norman in 2013, her parents Clarence and Mildred Frank and her brother Ronald and sister-in-law Colleen.
Mom loved to cook and bake, her passion for knitting and crocheting were unbelievable, she enjoyed bowling, lawn darts and floor curling but we believe her favorite was playing bingo. Mom was an active member of the Legion until health issues led her to move into the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home. She was known to many as the feisty one but was loved by many.
The family would like to thank the staff at the care home for their kindness and compassion shown to our mom over the last few years.
Cremation has taken place, and a private family service will take place at a later date.

My sympathy to Sylvia’s family. Sylvia was so full of life. She liked to share her memories of Norman and of her years working at AECL. She had a great sense of humor and a very kind heart.
My condolences to all of the family. She was a spunky, fiesty and witty lady that loved her sweets. So full of life, she will be missed.
Sincere condolences to Sylvia’s family. We have many wonderful memories growing up with the Wolds as our neighbours. Norman, Sylvia, Brad & Bev put up with us girls always coming into their yard looking for their dog Lucky and the poodles.
Sylvia was a wonderful lady. ❤️
May all your memories be close in your hearts forever.
