Susan Chevrefils, aged 57 years of Pine Falls, MB, dearly beloved wife of Philip, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the Pine Falls Hospital after a valiant battle with cancer.
Besides her husband Philip, she will be lovingly remembered by her sons Dominic and Chad, mother Emelda Tardiff, daughter-in-law Roxanne Cowan, granddaughter Brittney Cowan, brother Gerry Tardiff and sister-in-law Terry Wales.
She was predeceased by her father Charles Tardiff and sister Denise Sigurson.
Mom worked at pine Falls Optometrist where she was liked by all her co-workers and cliental that came in and out of the office. She enjoyed cross stitching in her spare time and was always involved in helping out the community, whether it was the Manitoba Metis Federation or Minor hockey, just to name a few. She was always known for her kindness and willingness to help others. Our friends often referred to her as their second mother because she would always give them motherly advise when they needed it. She liked spending time with her granddaughter baking cookies and playing games.
Although she has passed on and is no longer with us, she will always be in our hearts and in our prayers. We know that she will be watching over us from above, guiding us in the right direction, and keeping our heads up when times get tough.
She will missed by many, loved by all and never forgotten.
A Memorial mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 5 at 1:00 p.m. at the Notre Dame du Laus Roman Catholic Church, Powerview with Rev. Fr. James Gray presiding. Prayers will be said at 12:30 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
