1952 ~ 2017

Shirley Bouvier, aged 65 years, of Whitemouth, MB, passed away at Health Sciences Centre on Thursday, November 9, 2017, after a valiant battle with cancer.

She is survived by her husband Richard (Dick) of 47 years, her sons Lyall (Dora) and Sheldon (Zabrina), grandchildren Stephanie, Wrigley, Deklan and Paisley.  She is also survived by her siblings Kathy (Aart), Joyce, Marge, George (Patricia) and Clifford (Darlene) as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.  She was predeceased by her parents Henry and Natalie, and sisters Lillian, Mildred and Grace.

At Shirley’s request, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB  R3E 0V9.

I am so sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing. I will be sure to hang her ornaments on my Christmas tree over the years, in remembrance of my younger cousin. I have some wonderful childhood memories from when we grew up close neighbors. Shirley was a fine, brave and kind person.
