In Loving Memory of Sharon Sirois
February 14, 1957 ~ December 24, 2021
On Friday, December 24, 2021, Sharon Louise Sirois (nee Peters), loving wife, mother, and Mémére, passed away peacefully at the Selkirk Regional Health Centre following a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis.
Sharon was born in Smith Siding in the Rural Municipality of Lac du Bonnet. She attended the Smith Siding School and later went to school in Beausejour. She married James Sirois in 1976 and they lived in Wainwright, Alberta, Cornwallis, Nova Scotia and Winnipeg while James was in the armed forces. When James retired, they settled in Beausejour.
After working in the various places she lived, Sharon became a Health Care Aide with Manitoba Health. She supported and cared for many people in the Beausejour and surrounding area.
When asked about her greatest achievements in life, Sharon would lovingly say her family. She cherished her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. Sharon was also a very talented artist who enjoyed painting and loved sharing her art with her grandchildren.
Sharon is predeceased by her parents, Adolf and Isabel Peters and sister Marjorie Delorme. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 45 years, James; her children Chris Sirois (Alissa), Danielle Eppert (Richard); her grandchildren, Alexis, Madelyn, and James; her siblings Joan Graham (Tom), Fred Peters (Gladys), Karen Arnold (Mike), Kim Cross (John), Don Peters, Jim Peters (Jo-Anne), as well numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
As per Sharon’s wishes, a memorial service and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Manitoba Lung Association.

Life will never be the same. As I Watched the loving person I know as my aunt. Cherish those around her. She holds a special piece in everyones heart. A loving soul. Never thought ill of anyone but positive in every light. There is an angel in heaven and we were granted her beauty ,love and admiration. On the eve of Christmas. My heart reaches out to all my family and friends of our beloved Sharon. Love you heaven bound.

Our condolences and prayers are with you. Heaven has gained an angel. Though she is gone in body her spirit and memories lives on. She will be greatly missed and not a day will go by that some memories will come to us. Live you all
Danielle and family-I’m so sorry for your loss. I remember your mom when I’d come over as a teenager and she was so kind. Later she was my mom’s home care attendant and was so kind and caring for her. My mom was so fond of her. Losing a mom is so hard – thinking of you and praying for you.
Our sincere condolences. Saying goodbye to a loved one is always hard. Made even more so by the holiday season.
