It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our mom, mother-in-law and grandmother, Sharon Want, on June 29, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was predeceased by her husband Fred in 1999, brother Lloyd, and her parents, John and Nellie Bialek.
Sharon is survived by her three sons, Ron, Don (Candace) and Wally, and granddaughter Erin. She is also survived by her brother Ken (Dianne), sister Wilma, sister-in-law Jane, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mom enjoyed the simple, quiet life. She enjoyed her huge garden, family fishing trips, family gatherings, being outdoors and quiet moments. She had a heart of gold; whatever needed to be done was done without a complaint, always putting others before herself. She was patient and strong, setting a good example for all of us.
A special thank you to the health care teams at the Beausejour Hospital, Steinbach Hospital and CancerCare.
A private family funeral service will be held.

Valerie Kent (nee Krawchuk)
I wish to express my deepest condolences to Sharon Ann’s family, Sharon and I had been elementary school friends that bring back fond memories. Sharon came from a very musical family each displaying their own musical talent. During our lunch hour in our one room school house, Sharon and I would become duet singers. She had the talent with her beautiful voice and I followed behind. My voice was no match to hers but I could follow along and we spent many joyful hours doing just that. Unfortunately after elementary school Sharon and I went our separate ways, with deep regrets.. Sharon is singing for our Creator now with Angelic Wings. I am so sorry to hear of her sufferings with cancer but she is now pain free. With my deepest sympathy Valerie Kent (nee Krawchuk).
