It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Sharon Ann Ogg (nee Joyce). Mom passed away peacefully October 10, 2023 at Pinawa Hospital. She was surrounded by her family.
Grams was born in Moose Jaw, SK to her parents Wes and Alice Joyce. The family moved to Winnipeg when she was young. She was preceded by her mother Alice, father Wes, sister June Wood, and her loving daughter Heather Papineau.
She leaves a loving family to cherish memories and to mourn her passing. She had a beautiful life with her husband of 61 years Donald Ogg, two daughters Cheryl (Paul) and Carrie (Pat) Peloquin, son-in-law Adrian Papineau, and the loves of her life, 6 grandsons, Justin (Amy), Chance (Lydia), Darien (Kirstan), Kade, Brett, and Kurt Papineau.
Our lives were always about family. We enjoyed nature and seeing the country together, singing campfire songs, hiking and swimming.
As we went on our way, Mom and Dad enjoyed a life of camping in the motorhome in Canada and Arizona; summer times in Albert Beach, MB.
Mom had a passion for flowers, butterflies and her birds. She enjoyed her sunroom daily, enjoying their yard and bird friends. Mom was most proud of her family.
Everyone who knew her loved her. She was always happy and vibrant. She loved people and had no enemies in her lifetime.
You are forever in our hearts Mom. Your Legacy will shine through us all.
As per mom’s wishes, there will be no service. Mom said, “Take a walk in nature, enjoy the sunset and ‘Talk to the Birds’.”
Many thanks to Dr. Bruneau and the staff at Pinawa Hospital for all the care and compassion they showed towards our mother. As well, many thanks to Don’s girls and the Homecare Team of Pine Falls for their care.
