It is with broken hearts we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Mother and Grandmother, Ruth Rach, who passed away at Health Sciences Centre, on January 3, 2020. She was 77.
She is predeceased by her husband Norman in 2000; her parents, Frieda and Bert Plato; as well as her brother Rudy, brother-in-law Lorne, and sisters-in-law, Pat and Irene.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, daughter Debbie, and her children: grandsons Ryan, Taylor (Jenna) and Lucas; son Cory (Elana) and their children: grandchildren Josh, Brady and Kassidy. She is also survived by her siblings, Irene, Arthur, Norman (Iona), Irma (Gerry), and Marlene, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends who will miss her dearly.
Special thanks to Irene Hudek, and others who shared care and compassion towards our mother. You know who you are.

I am so sorry for your loss. Ruth was a firecracker with a very soft side…she will be missed, it was a privilege to know her!
