1928 ~ 2020
Russell expired on July 24, 2020 in his sleep at the Beausejour Hospital. He was born on April 24, 1928 as the caboose of five children.
Predeceased by daughter Karen Joan Glass (nee Cosford) and son in-law Ronald Sunley. Leaving to mourn his departure are wife Margaret; children Kathleen (Wayne) Kristinnson, Lauren Cosford,
Dave Cosford and Deidre Sunley; grandchildren Mark Crowchild, Laura Chyphya, Roman Cosford, Sheila Kristinnson, Blair Kristinnson, Shannon Kristinnson, Kyle Cosford, Marissa Cosford, Dayton Cosford, Jonathan Sunley and Sean Sunley; 22 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
Many thanks to Dr. J. Partyka and the medical team and Beausejour Hospital, also known as Charlie’s Angels, for taking such good care of Dad. We would like to thank Pastor Wally Frank from Salt Baptist Church in Anola, MB for his spiritual healing. Thank you to Greg Puhacz for the Legion Honor Guard. And thank you to the legion members who were pallbearers at Dad’s service. Pallbearers were Dave, Dayton and Roman Cosford, Dan Green, Len Bales and Greg Puhacz.
A private family graveside funeral was held in honor of Russell in the Beausejour Town Cemetery.

We did not know Russell well but met him at the BeauHead. He made an impact on us, with his quick wit and charm. Sorry for your loss.
