1928 ~ 2012
Rose Mazur passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at the Selkirk Hospital, at the age of 84.
She is predeceased by her parents George and Annie Urbansky, and her son Raymond.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 68 years Paul; her sons: Leonard (Patricia), Donald (Susan), Alvin, Brian (Susan), Patrick (Connie); and daughter Linda; as well as 11 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
Rosie was a dedicated and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a hard worker who didn’t much complain. She enjoyed the simple things in life, and she had a heart of gold. Her friendliness and openness extended to everyone she met, especially at Food Fare. She always enjoyed talking to people.
A special thank you to the staff at Beausejour Hospital and East Gate Lodge for all their care and compassion.
As per Rose’s request, cremation has taken place and a private family service was held.
May “The Boss” rest in peace.

Please accept our sincerest sympathies on the loss of your wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I always knew who she was when I was growing up, but never really knew her. I had the opportunity to get to know her when she fell ill. You are right, she had a heart of gold and she was a pleasure to be with and care for. She always had a big smile for me no matter the day she was having and we were always glad to see each other. I am sure her loss will leave a huge void in your lives. Take care and I thought of her often. The Boss is at peace!
