    To Mary and family
Our deepest condolences on the passing of Ron. Harlon has many good memories from their “playing days”. May all your memories bring you moments of comfort and peace in the days ahead. I read this lately: Grief never ends, but it changes. It’s a passage not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith…It is the price of love. May God comfort you all.

I was so sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. I had talked to him only a week ago when he called me to see how I was doing with my vehicle injury. To think that he was worried about me when his own time was so short.

I saw Ron at least twice a week at the University exercise program and was probably one of his best friends. We always talked about the football and other sport pools and he was always energised at these times. He was always a private man only talking to a few of us about his health or other problems.

I was honored to have called him a friend and we all are worse off for his passing. I hope we will meet again.

    To Mary and Family.

So sorry for your loss. Ron was a good friend. We met though the University exercise program, and shared jokes and encouragement with each other. We shared recipes and we had the privilege of having Ron join us one year for Christmas dinner. This was an honor for us as we could introduce him to our children and the rest of the family. Christmas in 2016 was enriched by his presence. A good time was had by all. Our lives were better for meeting and knowing Ron. What a wonderful person.

May God comfort you in your time of loss.
    Our prayers are with you.

It is with shock I accidentally found Ron’s obituary online today. To the family, I’m so sorry for your loss. Ron and I were close when he lived in Vancouver all those many years ago and he even generously let me live with him for a few months when I was between apartments. We always had great laughs together. Rest in peace dear cousin…now it’s time to soar!

Dear Mary, Grace, Rich, You may not realize I knew Ron for so long too, as he was over our place earlier years when he lived in Calgary long before he was ill. Also he lived in the same building my mother did years ago about ten minure walk from here . Ron always enjoyed when we went in recent years especially when Charlotte and I visited especially around Christmas, sharing all the treats you sent. I join you in celebrating the life of a gentle funny fellow. DONA Lee AUNT TO YOUR GRANDCHILDREN, BY charlotte as my younger sister ..

To Mary, You and your Family are in my mind and heart
I was deeply saddened but at peace when ICU phoned and told me of Ron passing. A good heart had stop beating and good soul ascended to heaven. I am honoured and blessed to have known Ron. I also saw Ron at the University exercise program. Ron was a very private man but we both have MS so we shared lots of health issues. I knew Ron went to hospital and I went up and spent 2 hours sharing time together. I went up 2days later and saw him in ICU.
I know that our Lord will bring you and your family the much needed peace during this time of grief
