It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Ron. He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1961 until he bought a farm on Hazelridge Road and grew a crop of corn in 1990. He loved to fish (He won two master anglers awards), work with wood and invent many things. He was also a great foster parent.
He loved building birdhouse holders, shacks and house additions until his back gave out and couldn’t work any longer.
Ron was predeceased by his parents (Henry and Margaret Eitzen). He was a son, uncle, a fantastic brother/caregiver, and best friend of many.
Left to mourn are his two sisters Sharon and Lorraine, Rob (brother-in-law), his nieces and nephews Katrina, Rebecca, Dayna, Cory, Kyle, his grandniece Eirlys and many friends.
The family would like to thank Kevin Eckert (Medical Examiner) and Sobering Funeral Home for the patience and kindness they showed during these trying times.
Ron will be cremated and the Memorial Service will be held on Friday March 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, Beausejour, Manitoba.
A livestream of the funeral service can also be accessed through the CISCO WEBEX app on your mobile phone or visit signin.webex.com/join on your PC. Enter the Meeting Number: 25570636952 and Password: Q7uDctKXW23.

I knew Ron for many years when your parents had a cottage in Camp Hideway. We became good friends for years after it sold. Last time I saw Ron was when he lived in the apartments here in LDB. I knew he moved to live on your property, but we lost track. I didn’t know your married name and asked your cousin Barry. I have thought fondly of Ron over the years and tried to locate him. Ron nicknamed me Rosie….lol.
My condolonces to you & your family on losing Ron.
