December 3, 1941 – February 15, 2018
While holding onto our hands and our hearts, our beloved husband, father and Gigi, Bob, took his last breath on the evening of February 15, 2018 at Asper Clinical Institute (Cardiac Centre).
He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Joan, daughters Lori (Jason), Lana (Quinn) and grandchildren David, Jack, Madison, Ella and Sadie. He is survived by his sisters Emily and Carol.
Bob was born and raised in Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba. He grew up as a printer but his true passion was in real estate. He was a humble man, hardworking, and took great pride in his family, world travels, fishing, community work and the sport of curling. Bob’s proudest moments in curling were competitive competitions at all levels from rural to national to European. In the community Bob was known for his dedication to the July 1st fireworks.
We will be forever grateful to the medical staff on the 5th floor of the Asper Institute and St. Boniface Hospital Cardiac Unit.
A service will be held on Saturday, February 24 at 1:00 p.m. in the Lac du Bonnet Community Centre.
In lieu of flowers, donations can made in Bob’s memory to the Lac du Bonnet & District Charitable Foundation Inc., Box 744, Lac du Bonnet, MB R0E 1A0.
Offer Condolence for the family of Robert (Bob) Lesko
