Rita passed away peacefully at Sunnywood Manor in Pine Falls on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the age of 94.
She was predeceased by her husband Archie, son Leo and grandson Michael.
She will be dearly missed by her children; Laurette (Cy), Doreen, Richard (Denise), Gerald (Michelle), Suzanne, Ronald and Marc (Lucy). As well she leaves her 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and her sister Paulette.
Many thanks to the staff at Pine Falls Hospital and Sunnywood Manor for all the care and compassion they showed our mother.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 16 at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour, MB.

My thoughts are with Ma Tante Rita’s family at this sad time. I have fond memories of visiting the farm near Selkirk and then the family home near Pine Falls. I remember Ma Tante being a wonderful cook. She was always keeping the boys in line.
