Respecting Rae’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Rae’s family invite friends to take a few minutes to celebrate her life in their own way.
Rae was deeply involved in the community and the church. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the St. Francis of Assisi Flower Fund in Rae’s name. Rae always made sure the church was adorned throughout the year with beautiful flowers & plants, especially on occasions like Easter, Christmas, and Mother’s Day. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the incredible staff at the Whitemouth Personal Care Home for the compassion, care & love they gave Mom and for being part of her chosen family. Thank you as well, to friends, neighbors and community members involved in their lives over the years for their friendship and support.

So sorry to hear the news of Aunt Yvonne’s passing. I remember fondly getting her up very early in the mornings to come fishing with me at Victoria Beach when she would visit! I also remember the fantastic perogies she would make and how she would not hesitate to throw a whole batch of dough out if it didn’t feel right and start all over… it had to be perfect!
My family’s thoughts and prayers are with you all.
