Karen we were very sad to hear about Phil’s passing. Gords eyes light up whenever he shares stories about the trouble they got into together in their younger days. We both will always fondly remember his smile and quick sense of humor. Our condolences to you and your family.

My sympathies to you Karen, and your family, and Eugene and your family on losing Phillip. I am so glad I got to see and visit with him at the Corrall reunion. He hadn’t lost that great sense of humor delivered with the twinkle in his eye and grin on his face that I remembered. He left far too soon.

Condolence from Valerie and Tony Kent on April 12th, 2017 9:39 pm

On behalf of Eleanor, Valerie, Patricia and Phyllis (nee Krawchuk), we wish to express our Deepest Sympathy to Karen, Eugene and the extended Winnicki family. We are in disbelief to learn of the untimely passing of Phillip. Eugene, as you may recall, our dear now departed parents (Julia and Peter; Ann and Frank, with our Mother’s being childhood friends), continued a friendship that would last a life time. They shared the honour of being a Godparent for a child in both our families. As children, we remember exchanging family visits–your parents having all boys and my parents having all girls. As life would have it, we all grew up, went our separate ways, also having children of our own. At this time, we especially remember the tragic loss of your brother Cornell, at a time when his young adult life had just begun. May it bring you peace to know that our childhood memories will never be forgotten. We ask God to give all of you strength during this difficult time; our prayers are with you. Those who have left this earthly life before us, left us with treasured memories that will remain in our hearts forever. Rest in peace dear Phillip.

Expressing my sincere condolences to Phillip’s family and friends. I have memories of our High School years in Beausejour. (Smiles!) The passing of a friend is like the burning of a library. Peace to all.
