1974 ~ 2017
With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our son Peter at the age of 43.
He is survived by his dad Ray, mother Robin, 2 daughters Sadie Joss (grandson Jake), and Keara Joss (mother Charlene Parsons), sister Tammy Bonni (Billy), kids Brooke and Braden, Grandmother Irene Joseph and many aunties and uncles.
He was predeceased by his Grandparents Edward and Leona Joss, Grandfather Howard Joseph, Aunty Linda Joss and Uncle MJ.
Peter grew up in Transcona but lived his adult life in the country where he enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. He was an all-around outdoors man. He had a great appreciation for all animals.
Peter loved his 2 daughters greatly and enjoyed sharing all his outdoor passions with them. He often talked about his career on the oil rigs where he made many lifelong friends. Peter was a quiet, hardworking person who found comfort in spending time working with animals and living the simple life.
Cremation has taken place and prayers will be held at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour on Feb.1st. at 7:00 p.m.
Burial will take place at a later date. Donations may be made on behalf of Peter to the Canadian Mental Health Association.

I went to school with Peter and have nothing but good memories of him. He was always so nice to everyone. He had such a kind heart.

We had not spoke in 20 some odd years and then we connected recently through a few messages and a catch up phone call, and it seemed as if no time had passed.
You spoke so fondly of your love for your family, how proud of becoming a grandpa, and how much you love your girls and their mom. You spoke so fondly of your re-connection with your heritage and ceremonial practices and traditions. You spoke so fondly.

I just found out about my buddies passing and am shocked. This was a real man and i will miss him forever. Old times in transcona love it. Nothing but brilliance.
