After much determination & a courageous battle with cancer Patrick Stanley Edward Bukoski with his family by his side at the Beausejour Hospital took the next stepping stone to his eternal home.
Patrick was predeceased by his Father Alfred and is survived by his Mother Frances; Siblings Gladys (Fred), Robert, Connie (Duane), Glen; Nieces/Nephews Kelly (Shawn), Jason (Meaghan), Ethan & London.
Patrick lived a private & quiet life on the Original Bukoski Homestead in Sebright in the RM of Brokenhead between Tyndall & Beausejour. Patrick had a love for the outdoors. He worked in construction, looked after the farm, raised bantam chickens & cut countless cords of firewood. You would always find Patrick in the garage tinkering, watching tv, stoking the wood stove & waiting for someone to stop by for a visit. Patrick enjoyed going for a countryside drive making a stop along the way here & there at family & friends. This was Patrick’s way of keeping in touch with those who were close to him. Patrick looked forward to hunting season every year looking for the Big Buck!
The Family Wishes to Thank the Doctors/Nurses at HSC, CancerCare Victoria General Hospital, CancerCare Selkirk Regional Health Centre, Beausejour Hospital & the Beausejour Home Care Nurses for the Compassionate Care Patrick was given.
Funeral Service for Patrick and his mother Frances will be held on Saturday, May 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour with interment to follow in St. Mary Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers if anyone so desires, please make donations to the Beausejour Hospital TV Fund, Box 1614, Beausejour, Mb R0E0C0.
