Patricia Elizabeth Gray

March 17, 1939 ~ November 25, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Elizabeth Gray on November 25, 2022 at the age of 83.  Pat was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, and a dear friend to many.  She joins in heaven her husband of 58 years; Gerald Stanley Gray, who predeceased her on November 11, 2022.

Pat loved spending time on the water in Lac du Bonnet.  She also enjoyed cooking, knitting, cross stitch and reading.  But most of all, she loved her family.  Her warm and caring personality endeared her to many.  She was everyone’s “Nana”.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Kim (Darryl) Halipchuk and Cameron (Tanis) Gray; Grandchildren Dana, Stephanie (Harlen), Jayden, Madison, Great-Grandchildren Jimmy, Angelina; and brother Allan Novits.

A celebration of Life to honour both Gerald and Patricia will be held at a later date during the Summer of 2023.

Kim, Cameron and family, with deepest condolences we are sorry for the loss of your Mother. This has come as a complete shock to us, as we were looking forward to a visit with your Mom on Nov. 19th. Your Mom, from the day we met on Wood Duck Bend, took us in under her wing and treated us as one of the family. Being able to share Christmas, Birthdays, Anniversaries and those days out on the water, will forever remain with us in our memories.

Our sincere condolences to you Kim and Cameron as well as your families. Your Mom was a force of nature. Our families have such a long history together. Laughter and fun at the lake, so many memories. Your Mom was such a great baker, she taught me the secret to cabbage rolls. Every time I talked to her she told me how much she missed my Mom, the two of them were such good friends. We are so sorry you lost both of your parents so close together. I can’t, however, imagine one without the other. Take care of each other as you journey this next year of firsts without them. Thank you Kim for reaching out and keeping me informed. Hazel Hugs and love from all the Saito’s

Dear Kim I’m so sorry to hear of both your mom and dads passing. We were cousins in different provinces but we loved from afar. We had so much fun in Gladstone as kids and again in Winnipeg. I’m sending you big hugs honey and prayers also to Alan and families. You’re in my ❤️ heart Love cousin Darlene Novits

    To the Gray Family
We regret sending this message after just 2 weeks of reading and hearing from Kim about both parents .
Your mum was a special friend and human being, her caring ,compassion , and always worrying in her way was outstanding!
From our first meeting on the road Woodduck . To the wonderful meetings, suppers ,waiting for Kim and Darryl on Fridays to waving on the water will always be treasured in our hearts .
Be at Peace and know what they gave to all of us is a Treasure no one can take Away !
