1933 ~ 2021
The family wishes to announce the passing of their mom and grandma, Olga Blazeiko, on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Pinawa Hospital.
She was predeceased by her husband Paul in 1980, her parents Edward and Martha Thomssen and ten siblings.
She is survived by her son Gary and her daughter-in-law Betty Braun; her grandchildren Jennifer (Paul) and Christopher; great grandchildren Garin, Anthea, Cyra, Truett, Wren and Ulysses; special friend Lillian; many nieces, nephews and extended friends.
Mom was a very active lady. She enjoyed dancing, floor curling at the Pioneer Club, playing bingo and going to the casino. Most of all she enjoyed cooking, supplying the golf course with homemade perogies. In her younger years she would close the restaurant down just to go fishing. In the early 90’s mom retired to Lac du Bonnet.
Cremation has taken place and the family is planning a celebration of life in the future.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
