Judith Hattie passed away peacefully at Pinawa Hospital on November 8, 2021. Judy was born and raised in Winnipeg, growing up in East Kildonan with her parents John and Peggy Yaremchuk, and brother Gerald. After achieving her MSc in biology, she took up teaching, first in Whitemouth, where she met John Hattie, with whom she would spend 44 happy years, and then to Beausejour, spending her 35 year career encouraging her students to love and respect the natural world.
