July 23, 1936 – November 19, 2023
It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Father, Father-in-law, Grandpa (Papa), Great Grandpa, Brother, Brother-in-law, Uncle and Friend. Dad left to join his beautiful wife Eleanor of 64 years.
Dad was born July 23, 1936 in an old log farmhouse to Robert and Fanny Voss, growing up in a large and loving musical family. After leaving home, Dad married Eleanor Voss and they started their family.
He leaves to mourn his passing, son Wayne (Kim); daughters Janet (Mark) and Sylvia (Duncan); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; siblings Ruth (Peter), Albert (Eleanor), Pauline, Shirley (Allan) and Bob; nieces and nephews; in-laws and friends.
Dad leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth, touching the lives of all who knew him. Dad taught us to be strong and never back down to life challenges. Because of your teachings and strength, we know it will help us get through today and forward.
Norman was predeceased by his beloved wife Eleanor; parents Robert and Fanny Voss; siblings Edward Voss, and Loraine Seidel; 4 infants in infancy; and brother-in-law Adam.
The family would like to thank all doctors, nurses, healthcare aids, and the staff at the Beausejour Hospital and East Gate Lodge for all your care and compassion.
A funeral service is planned for Monday, November 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel; 1035 Parke Avenue E., Beausejour, with viewing 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, Green Bay.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to East Gate Lodge Care Home and Beausejour Hospital T.V. Fund.

My Mom and Dad always talked fondly of both Norman and Eleanor. My mom shared stories of the Voss cousins growing up in Golden Bay. Norman was a staple in the community and he will be missed.
Thinking of you all.
