Dear Frances,
My sincere condolences on the passing of Mathew. Unfortunately, I have a prior commitment, and won’t be able to attend the funeral service tomorrow. Nevertheless, I hope that the words spoken at the service will provide you with a measure of comfort and reassurance. I’m sure your family will also provide you with loving support!

Dear Frances and Family
I am so sorry to hear this sad news. I remember with great fondness our meeting in Winnipeg at Jim and Elaine’s in 1994, such a long time ago.
You and Matthew kindly gave us lots of information regarding the Chrisp family history.
I hope all went well at the funeral and may Matthew rest in peace.
Stay strong and remember all the good times you had together.
Love Joan and family xxxx
