1943 ~ 2017
Suddenly after a very brief illness, Martin passed away surrounded by his family and friends on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Concordia Hospital at the age of 73.
Martin was predeceased by his daughter Nicole, son in-law James and his parents Fred and Helen.
Martin will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years Emily (nee Chrusch), son Dean (Jill), grandchildren Geordie, Halli, Brysen and Brielle, brother Harold (Evelyn), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A special thank you to Dr. Robert Johnson and the nursing staff at Concordia Hospital for all their care and compassion they showed towards Martin.
A celebration of Martin’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 23 at the Grand Marais Recreation Centre.
