1930 ~ 2018
Marie Wurch, aged 87 years, of Beausejour, passed away on February 28, 2018 at East Gate Lodge.
Marie is survived by her daughters Janice and Maralee (Darrell); sons Philip (Carolyn) and Andrew (Tracey); thirteen grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind sister Terri (Norman) of Ottawa; sisters-in-law Rita, Lillian, Rose, Velma (Gerry), Norma (Eric), Sadie (Cecil) and Marion; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Marie was predeceased by her loving husband George; brothers Roger and Robert; sister Henriette; brothers-in-law Clarence, Leonard, Irvin and sisters-in-law Alice, Edna and Eli and her parents.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Saturday, March 10 at 11:00 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Ave. E., Beausejour, with Rev. Darrell Wurch officiating with viewing one hour prior. Interment will follow in St. Ouens Pentecostal Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so desire, donations may be made in Marie’s memory to St. Ouens Church.

My deepest condolences on the passing of your mother. I remember her as a kind gentle lady. We know she did a great job raising her children Philip and Maralee. I had the pleasure of working with them , they were always kind and spoke of there mother with much love. May she rest in peace as we know her memories live on in everyone who she touched. Aunt Marie was always special. She was my first teacher in school. She loved nature and I have many memories of visiting with her in her kitchen. Our loss is heaven’s gain.
Absent from the body but persent with the Lord. Knowing we will see our loved ones again conforts us at this time.
Your Mother, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Marie, has completed her earthly journey and Heaven’s gates opened wide for her to enter in. Angel voices joined hers in praise when she met her Savior – the one she loved and served. Even when ‘it is time’ it’s not easy to say good-bye to a loved one; however take comfort in the fact that you shall meet again! Love and prayers to you, the family.
I always enjoyed talking to your Mom when I came to the church. She was a beautiful Godly woman who raised a lovely family . Her reward is great. You were blessed.
