We announce the passing of Maria Rempel at 100 years of age, on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Park Manor Care Home.
Maria is survived by her son Peter (Angela), their children Darryl (Shannon), James (Michelle) and Coralee (Jarred); her daughter Nina (Fred), their children Freddy and Elizabeth; and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Maria will be remembered by her grandchildren for never driving fast enough in her 1973 Nova. However, we are convinced that was so she could spend more time with them. She also enjoyed her visits to San Antonio, Texas to visit her daughter Nina and her family.
She will also be remembered by her family for being a strong, fearless individual who never refused a challenge to make a better life for her children.
A very special thanks to the staff of Park Manor…for their everlasting commitment and love for Maria, especially as they faced unprecedented times. The family really appreciates your dedication to your professions.
Due to Covid restrictions, a private interment is planned in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
