Maria Rego, aged 69, of Victoria Beach, Manitoba, dearly beloved wife of Leonardo Rego and Mother to Sandy Zahajko, passed away on May 2, 2016 at Powerview-Pine Falls Hospital.
She is survived by: Her loving husband Leonardo Rego, her daughter Sandy Zahajko, son-in-law Charlie Zahajko, granddaughter Angelina Zahajko also many godchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour, MB with Father Jeanneau officiating. Interment will follow in Victoria Beach West Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Wednesday night from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. with Prayers at 7:00 p.m. also at Sobering Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers will be: Charlie Zahajko, Horacio Medeiros, Paul Bedard, Nelson Pereira, Christopher Pereira and George Medeiros.
In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so desire, donations in her memory may be made to: Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society.
