1949 ~ 2016

Margo passed away unexpectedly at the Pinawa Hospital on August 13, 2016 at the age of 67.

She is predeceased by her parents John and Molly Longstaffe.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 45 years, Jack; her children Lori (Ted), Sean (Heather); her grandchildren Zoë, Troy, Ethan; her brother Rick (Barb) and nephew Derek.

A special thank you to the Pinawa Hospital team for their care and support.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB  R3T 0R3 or a charity of one’s choice.

A funeral service will be held at the Pinawa Community Centre, 20 Vanier Ave. (in the high school), at 2:00 p.m. on August 19, 2016, with the Rev. Rob Murray of the Pinawa Christian Fellowship presiding.

I am so sorry to hear the news of Margo’s passing I remember always chatting away with her and having some great laughs at the Pinawa hospital when I worked there. She always had a kind word and great advice one special lady who will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by friends and family RIP Margo’s. Jack and family, we were so shocked to hear of Margo’s passing. Please know that our thoughts are with you at this time. Margo was one of the beautiful people that with good fortune, will cross your path and mark your life in a very positive way for ever after. My condolences as well. I can only echo all the thoughts that were sent previously to mine. My immediate thought was what a lovely person we have lost too soon. I am also very sad for the family and the fact that Margo did not get to enjoy her retirement as she so joyfully spoke about before leaving the clinic.

Margo was an absolute treasure. She made going to physio a joy for all. She had the knack of making us feel like one big family sharing lots of our personal experiences of life.
