1929 ~ 2012
Margarete Ehm passed away on January 17, 2012 at the age of 82. She is survived by her daughter Rose Honke (Lawrence), her son Albert (Lena), brother Adolf Fischer (Elisabeth) in Germany, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nieces and nephews in Canada and Germany.
She is predeceased by her daughter Lore Dies, parents Maria and Julius Fischer, siblings Marie, Anne, Stephan and Franz, special friend Erich Mueller and our father Henry.
Mom immigrated from Germany in June of 1955 and eventually Whitemouth became her home till she moved to Brandon in 2010. Mom enjoyed volunteering at the Whitemouth Senior Home and belonging to the Senior Club. She enjoyed blueberry picking, watching Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and doing her word find puzzles.
The family would like to thank everyone for their support, prayers, flowers and cards.
Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, May 25 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church, Whitemouth, MB.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church, Whitemouth or to CancerCare Manitoba.
