August 14, 1926 ~ February 25, 2011

Suddenly on Friday, February 25, 2011, Margaret (Peggy) Wallis, beloved wife of the late Steven Wallis, passed away at St. Boniface Hospital.

Margaret is the dear mother of Richard (Lynda) of Beausejour, MB, Tom (Jennifer) of Ottawa, Elizabeth Vaughan of Victoria, Australia and daughter in-law Linda of Nelson, B.C., Grandmother to Billy and Tommy, Courtney and Lauren, Great Grandma to Alice and will be fondly remembered by Lynda’s son Jason. She was predeceased by her husband Steven Wallis and son Michael.

Peggy was an LPN in Quebec. Once Steven retired from Bell Canada they moved to Lowland, MB to work on their farm.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Dr. G. Campbell for his care and kindness. Thanks also to the Beausejour Hospital nurses and staff as well as the homecare girls and especially Joan Litke.

Cremation has taken place and a service will be held in the Spring of 2011.
