1947 ~ 2020
Margaret Rose Johnson, age 72, of Oakbank, MB went to be with Jesus on Monday, July 27th, 2020. At her bedside was her loving husband, three sons and daughters-in-law. She was born on October 27, 1947 in Brokenhead, MB to Albert and Olga Litke.
Margaret was an amazing wife to Neil for 51 years. Last year they celebrated their 50th anniversary with their extended family and friends. Margaret also leaves behind three sons and daughters in law (Derek & Lisa, Darcy & Cyntia, Chris & Amy) and 9 grandchildren whom she deeply loved. She also leaves behind 10 Litke brothers/sisters along with families and the same for the Johnson side of the family.
Margaret was a spunky, loving, strong, hardworking and courageous woman. She always faced whatever was in front of her with grace and grit. She was known for her faith in Jesus Christ, her deep love for her family and her care for her church community. She served for 25 years at Child Evangelism Fellowship. Marge loved her flower and vegetable garden. She was also an incredible cook and baker. She is deeply missed by so many friends and family.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 5th, 2020 at 11 – 11:30am at the Sobering Funeral Chapel in Beausejour, MB. The Burial will follow @ 1:30pm at Beausejour Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow in 2021.

SO sorry to hear of Marg’s sudden passing! She was a delightful lady, strong Christian. My prayers are with Neil & the rest of the family. Having only lost my precious hubby, Bob, in January I am acquainted with grief! Thank God we have His love & support.

Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs to the family (especially to Uncle Neil, Darcy, Derek and Chris). Our hearts go out to you during this time of sorrow. Auntie Marg will be remembered as a rock of the family. She was so nurturing and could be counted on for the best reactions to the Litke pranks. We will miss her dearly. Heaven gained an angel. Our prayers are with you all.

Marg is indeed with Jesus! She was such a good and faithful servant! We are so blessed to have known her and the description of her character was bang on- she was all that times a hundred! I have loved ministering and serving alongside Marg with Child Evangelism and Discovery Time for years and I will hold those memories close. She has touched so many lives and she will be dearly missed. Holding Neil and the entire family in our prayers, she loved you all so much! She was one of a kind in all the best ways possible, a very special woman of God!

Our deepest sympathy to Neil and the entire family. Our prayers are with all of you. Margaret was a beautiful soul who we have known for many years. She served down the street from me at Child Evangelism. We last visited at the One Hope Canada banquet, our time together was so special. We know she is now with Jesus. We will miss our occasional but special visits with her.
May the Lord grant you His peace and comfort, is our prayer.
Psalm 46:7 – The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold.
Psalm 116:15 – Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His godly ones.
