Truly a great lady with many accomplishments, wore a big smile and treated you like she was your mother. May we celebrate her life by living the example that she taught us. We ask the good Lord to give her family and friends His peace beyond measure.

Condolence from Brenda Klymchuk on March 24th, 2018 2:10 pm

My heart is with all of you. Auntie Margaret was an important part of my life. When I think of her, the word ‘gentle’ comes to mind. She was hard working on the farm, a wonderful cook, devoted to Uncle Art ( always called him Arthur) and all their girls. When I visited at Victoria Hospital, I marvelled at how sharp her mind was, to be able to converse with her as though no years had passed since I was much younger….. I felt so blessed because I was no longer able to have talks like that with Mom.
When I visited her at her apartment, she always spoke of her family and made an effort to make her way to the TV stand with her walker to make sure I saw the latest pictures!
Thank you Auntie Margaret for the wonderful memory of bath night with the girls when I stayed at the farm as a kid. You filled that old galvanized tub with soapy water and started with Connie (the baby)… then adding hot water as each one of us followed in order of age, ending with Madeline (sorry Madeline)! … an odd memory perhaps, but a special one of mine!
I pray that the wonderful memories and the certain knowledge that our faith gives us would bring comfort now. With love and gratitude, Brenda

Although the times I had to share with Margaret were few, she left an impression that will remain with me for the rest of my life. She was a kind, gentle and loving person who was special to our family. Today, I grieve with her family (my cousins) during this sad time.

My Condolences to the Girls, their Families, and the rest of Aunty Margaret’s Family and Friend’s .
I remember Mom mentioning how my Dad’s Sisters and Sister in laws got together and did the cooking for their wedding, Just as they did for my parents 25th. I remember Aunty Ella, Aunty Hertha, and Aunty Margaret and I …there may have been more…all working out of Aunty Margaret’s big kitchen on the farm, making cabbage rolls. The big round pictures of our grandparents on the wall in the living room at the farm house.
My remember Aunty Margaret as a kind and gentle lady, always with a smile. May the Lord and Your pleasant memories carry You.
