Margaret Cosford (nee Peichl), born December 16, 1923 in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, passed away in her sleep on Friday, November 19, 2022 at Eastgate Lodge in Beausejour, Manitoba, just short of her 99th birthday.
Marge outlived three husbands—Carman Killian, Laurie Geddes and Russell Cosford. She raised three sons, Jim, Gary and Lloyd and is missed and dearly loved by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild as well she leaves other relatives and friends.
Hers was a life of service, parenting, farming, working in the ammunitions factory in Toronto during WWII, hospitals, canneries, food services, tasks which she always did with humour and good spirits.
Marge was predeceased by her son Lloyd.
She is survived by stepchildren Jim, Gary, Kathy, Lauren, Dave and Deidre; grandchildren Jenny, Charlotte, Bronwen, Matthew, Kevin, Colin, Norman, Randy, Mark, Sheila, Blair, Shannon, Kyle, Marissa, Dayton, Laura, Roman, Jonathan and Sean; great-grandchildren Emilia, Juliet, Kaidan, Jesse, Julian, Tristin, Denallie, Kayble, Keeshia, Kristjan, Shaylene, Xavier, Kade, Kameron, Micheal, Chaya, Tierney, Kynley, Ayden, Dawson, Samaya, Amari, Evie, Karl-Wilfred, Damion, Quinton and Heather; great great granddaughter Anna-Belle and nieces Sharon and Bernice.

A celebration of Marge’s life will take place at Sobering Funeral Chapel in Beausejour, MB on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 11:30 a.m.

My memories of Marge are from the BeauHead Senior Center. She was so special. Never cranky and always sweet. I only knew her for a couple of years, but when she walked in I knew I would have a good day. You were blessed with such an amazing Matriarch.
