It is with deep sorrow that the family of Linda De Clercq announce her peaceful passing on Friday, April 14, 2017 at the age of 68.
Linda was born in Saskatchewan but lived most of her life in Manitoba. Mom loved anything fun, especially Belgian bolling, curling, and sitting on the deck with friends and family. She was an animal lover who always had a pet dog and in later years, 2 cats and a yard full of birds. She adored her grandchildren, Garret, Kara, Jared, Joshua, Hannah and Theo and would brag about their accomplishments to everyone who would listen. Mom loved home, but took the opportunity to travel with Lisa all over Canada, U.S., Ireland and Belgium, where she could visit her extended family.
Linda was predeceased by her parents; brothers George and Raymond; sisters Jo and Louise; nephews Ronnie, Keith, Jimmy and Guy; and best friends Judy and Cathy. Left to cherish her memory are husband Norm; son Daniel (Alanna); daughter Lisa (Joe); six beautiful grandchildren; sister Lorraine; brothers Kenny and Denny; extended family here and in Belgium; and many, many friends.
In keeping with her wishes, there will not be a funeral service. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choosing.
