April 26, 1953 ~ October 16, 2016
Gone to Glory, into the arms of Jesus and finally at peace, Linda Rose Christensen (Mazur) of Beausejour, MB, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the age of 63 years.
She is predeceased by her parents Paul and Rose Mazur and her brother Raymond.
She is survived and will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters: Laura Koster (Eddie) and Penny C. Dokken (John) as well as her four grandchildren: Ashley, Kyle, Peytyn and Deanna. She is also survived by her brothers: Leonard (Patricia), Donald (Susan), Alvin, Brian (Susan), Patrick (Connie) and their families.
As children, mom was the definition of what an awesome mom was. She was an amazing cook who learned her cooking skills from the best Ukrainian grandma ever. You name it she could cook it. She also was an avid gardener who always took pride in the fruits of her labour. Mom liked to sew and do embroidery as well. She was a devoted mom and completely doted on us. Eventually mental illness robbed us of a relationship with her but we will hold on to the fond childhood memories.
God saw you getting tired
when a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, “Come to Me”.
You didn’t deserve what you went through,
so He gave you rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best. – Frances & Kathleen Coelho

My deepest condolences goes out to your family Linda. We were little girls together, neighbours and friends. You, me and Marvin had the most fun during the summers, when we would play from morning until dark.
The greatest comfort we have in times of loss is knowing that death does not have the last word-Jesus does. And his word declares, I am the resurrection and the Life whoever lives and believes in Me will never die.
