It is with such overwhelming sadness that I’m writing my condolences to Leyan’s family. Freya and Logan, there are no words I can write that will ease your pain but I wanted to share with you that your Mother loved you so much. She was so proud of both of you, she often talked about you both and loved to share with me your accomplishments. My thoughts and prayers go out to you. Time is the great physician.
I worked with Leyan but I also thought of her as my friend. I am thankful for the time we shared together and am remembering her kindness, her beautiful smile and how she made me laugh.
Leyan’s family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Such a tragic loss of a beautiful person, inside and out. I hope one day you will find comfort when happy and funny memories of Leyan come to mind.

I am in shock to hear of Leyan’s passing. We were neighbors when I had my daughter, who was practically the same age as Freya. I followed her adventures on social media & know she was devoted to her kids & her family. She was an inspiration. My deepest condolences to Freya & Logan & all her family. There are no words now to ease your pain & loss, but she lives on in you & her memory will always be a blessing.

It was with shock and much sadness on Wednesday when we learnt of Leyan’s passing. Leyan was a great person to work with. She was always upbeat and a friendly voice on the phone. We regularly used to chat and joke about the weather “up there” in Kelowna. She will be missed by many. Condolences to her family and friends. Robert McCullough

My deepest condolence for your family’s loss. I worked with Leyan and she was a good friend. I will miss her. She brightened every day with her positive attitude, intelligence and sense of humor. She shared her love of Freya and Logan regularly and there is no question but that her children were the cornerstone of her world.
While there is nothing that will make the loss of Leyan easier, I do know that love lives on forever and Leyan was well loved by those who were blessed to get to know her.
I will keep you and your family in my heart and prayers.

To Leyan’s family and all of her friends,
My thoughts are with you all at this dark time. It is perfectly valid to feel grief and a deep sense of loss with Leyan’s passing. My only consolation is that there will be a day when we will remember Leyan by the special, outgoing, happy, and funny times we had with her, instead of our present sorrow and shock.
I did not have the pleasure of working with Leyan for long, but her upbeat, energetic, helpful and supportive character shone through every time I did. Leyan’s passing has left a hole too wide to understand now, but Leyan was a confidante to almost everyone she dealt with on a regular basis.
Leyan’s passing has left all of the people she has ever worked with in shock and sorrow. May you find comfort in your memories as you grieve her loss. There are no other words to say.

I am really caught off guard to hear of Leyan’s untimely passing. We have been friends for 28 years. My sincerest condolences to all feeling the loss of Leyan. She was truly one of a kind, and I feel very lucky to have known her. She spoke very fondly of her family, and shared stories of everyone when we would catch up. She had an incredibly kind, positive outlook and an infectious smile that would brighten a room. She had a way of making people feel welcomed, and comfortable around her. I will probably think of her every time I eat popcorn and smile. Again. I am so sorry for everyone’s loss. The world is a better place having had Leyan’s presence.

I am so terribly sad for your loss as I know she wad your pillar of strength, the laughter and the woman that kept the glue to the foundation of your family.
Leyan and I started the same day together at our work and we spent many hours days weeks, months and years talking laughing and sharing stories.
Her entire world was her two children. That was always her priority and hope and dreams for you to have a happy wonderful and successful future.

It is with great sadness that I offer my sincere condolences to Leyan’s family. I saw her about a month ago and she was so happy with her life. A new house and a future she was looking so forward to. A young life gone way too fast.
She was always the person at the office that everyone would stop and talk to on their way in and out of the building. She will be greatly missed!

Dear Leyan’s family and loved ones,
It’s very sad and unreal for us all to hear of the unexpected loss of Leyan. I worked with Leyan, she was bright, upbeat and full of fun. Leyan talked often of Freya and Logan, full of love and with pride.
I am glad for the time working together with Leyan. The memories of beautiful things about Leyan I won’t forget. I remember one time I was sick, Leyan pushed her way through and adamantly took over so I could rest. Leyan and her stories…gosh she could make you smile through anything. We will miss you, Leyan.
Thinking of Leyan’s family and hope you find comfort in all the beautiful memories.
