Leyan Erin Hnatishin, age 42, passed away tragically in Vancouver, British Columbia Sept. 27, 2022.
My precious darling daughter took a very special, happy part of ME with her to Heaven.
Dearest Leyan, your are with Jesus now. I can no longer see your lovely face in front of me, hear your laughter, the sweet way you called me “Mamma”, or share loving hugs with you.
Yet, you come to me when I call for you, and I feel your presence around me, your love gently envelopes me like a warm blanket and you help me cope when I am unbelievably sad. We spoke daily and I feel a profound sorrow of not being able to talk to you.
BLESS YOU Leyan for the 42 years of wonderful memories, grandchildren Freya and Logan, and your “TIMELESS LOVE”.
You will ALWAYS be remembered with undying love. Everyone misses you dearly, your children Freya and Logan, Dad David, Brother Dayne (Deandra), Godmother Lucia (Rocco) and family, Oma and Opa, Rob, Brad, numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins, Friends…

My most sincere condolences to all members of the family, and in particular Logan and Freya. I did not know Leyan for long in my capacity as one of Logan’s instructors and am shocked to hear of her passing. In the few conversations Leyan and I had, it was apparent to me that she was a smart, creative, fun person as well as a wonderful mother. The world will miss her.
