… just letting you know of the passing of our father Leonard Roy at sunset on July 2, 2022. He had a great life and continually acknowledged his longevity. He leaves a legacy of children and grand children and definitely countless memories. We invite you to remember him in your own way as we will. He had a sincere concern for the homeless and faithfully contributed to the cause. We encourage you to do the same.

Leonard was a first rate character with a spring in his step. I worked with Leonard for several years in the Time Office. Dull moments were rare with Leonard. To the family, please accept my sincere condolence.
Nadine
Thank you Kelly. Poplar St. had a lot of great families

Thinking of all the Roy “kids”. Dewey, Edmond,Nadine, Colin, Angie and Jason and families. I loved growing up across the fence from you. The many trips to the beach with your Mom in the early years and the many birthdays shared. So many wonderful memories. Fond memories of your Dad. Rest In Peace Leonard, your work on this earth is done. Hugs to each and everyone of you. Love Susan (McGuire) and Gerry Blixhavn. Dad (Bill) sends his condolences. May the bagpipes be playing and you are enjoying a cold beer with Arlie and Janet.
Nadine
Thank you all, our ‘back fence family’. I often told dad how you remembered the beach trips with the Roys, and it delighted him.

Nadine – I am so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing! My deepest condolences! My heart goes out to you and your family. I am sorry for the void in your life but I know the cherished memories will get you through and keep you smiling! Not to mention canning tomatoes and everything else you all did together. He was a great man who will truly be missed.

Leonard,
My memories of your dad and his welcoming ways – Knights of Columbus – Service for others – the Roy’s from St Pierre – our Paper Mill and my cousin Paul Dube. Your dad was always happy to greet me and help me in my young foolish days.
My sincere sympathies to all of you.

Dewey, Ed, Nadine, Colin, Angie and Jason, you all have my deepest condolences in the passing of your Dad! Your Dad was a very kind and caring person. He was liked by all who knew him. I had the utmost respect for him at all times. He was a very good friend of my Dad’s. He was a great co-pilot for Dad on many road trips they took to various K of C meetings. He will be greatly missed by all and may he rest in peace.
