As new-comers to Tyndall,(1982), and near-neighbors to Laurence and spouse Minnie, my spouse(Esther) and I soon felt the warmth that was part of Laurence’s nature. And Minnie for her refreshment delicacies.
With no pretentions whatsoever, if asked Laurence helped -even though he had no idea who we were.
And he never paid any attention to the decrepid little hovel we lived in, either. He treated us with ultimate respect. He was still like that in 1990, when we moved away from Tyndall, to Vermette, Mb.
At that time, he even helped me take some possessions to my family in Winkler and would not think of taking payment for going out-of-his-way to help.
We are convinced, a better community-neighbor cannot be found. Thank you, Laurence – and Minnie
