1958 ~ 2015
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Lawrence at the age of 56.
Left to cherish his memory are his best friend and life partner of 21 years Sheila, daughters Laurel and Tiffany, step daughter Jennifer (Jestin), grandchildren Briella and Madden, step son Ryan (Kelly), father Bob (Linda), sister Sharon (Chris), nephews Brendan, Travis, and Denver, niece Stephanie, brother in-law Harvey (Carla), mother in-law Diane, brothers in-law Rob (Tess), Harry (Linda), and Eric (Gina), sisters in-law Patty (Bruce), Belinda (Dave), and Marina, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Lawrence was predeceased by his sister Sandra and mother Sally.
Lawrence was a loving father, grandfather, partner and friend. He would always help family, friends and neighbours and expect nothing in return. His passions were few and included riding the John Deere in the field, fishing with brothers and buddies, and gathering with family and friends. Lawrence always had a positive attitude and outlook on life and work. Lawrence touched many lives on different levels. We will miss him dearly.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 23rd at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Ave. E. in Beausejour, MB. Luncheon to follow in the Beausejour Room, Brokenhead River Community Hall.
Donations may be made in Lawrence’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200-6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3L 0K6.

Deepest sympathies to Lawrence’s family on his passing. We have many memories of his and Sharon’s visits to Baba and Gigi Schultz’s house next door to us while we were growing up. We spent many hours playing baseball with them in the field behind our houses…I knew he had moved back to the area, but never had the good fortune of bumping into him to say hi…farewell, old friend, rest in peace…
