April 23, 1954 – February 7, 2019
After a battle with cancer, Lance passed away in Pinawa Hospital on February 7, 2019.
He leaves to mourn, his wife Darlene of 40 years, daughter Heather Zieske (Brian Wilgosh), mom Helen Baumgartner, sisters Edna Barrie and Louise (Garry) Lentz and sister in-law Kim Cook, grandsons Dedrick and Ryan Zieske, nephews Jeff and David Kehler, nieces Kathleen, Krystina and Jenna Cook, great nieces Lily, Sylvia, Katherine and Lois, and great nephew Wyatt.
He was predeceased by brother Arthur, father Louis Baumgartner, father in-law Harry Short, mother in-law Elsie Short, and grandmother Rose Baumgartner as well as uncles and aunts.
As per Lance’s request cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place in the summer of 2019. A notice will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
